Music Stand, Oval Table, Mirror, and Sideboard

Music Stand

In May 1974 we received a donation from Mr. and Mrs. Eric Lees of a Music Stand which is displayed in our Ballroom.

The description that was written when it accepted by the Historic Restoration Trust was: wooden – mahogany finish; 30 inches high x 36 inches long; side sections 9-1/2 inches; center 12 inches. The music stand is in our ballroom.

Oval Table

In October 1974 we received a donation from a founding member of the Historic Restoration Trust, Irwin Brill, of an Oval table which is displayed in the upstairs hallway.

The description of the table when it was accepted was: 24 inches x 18 inches 2 27 inches high – oval; mahogany finish; crisscross brace.

Mirror and Sideboard

In November 1975, we received two objects donated by Mr. Walt Smith of a Mirror and a Sideboard.

The Mirror is 29” x 45”; dark wood frame 5” wide; spot of gold on frame. The mirror is not currently on display. The Sideboard is displayed in our Master Bedroom.

Burled wood sideboard, Kingsland Manor, Nutley NJ

The sideboard top is 48-1/2” x 22” – 45” from the floor; 2 top drawers with rounded front – burled wood; wooden knobs; inlaid ivory keyholes – light color; 2 panel doors – (green inside) 27-1/2” x 19”; 1 shelf inside grooved for plates; stored inside are 2 pieces of curved wood for both sides of front for decoration (now attached to the sideboard); heavy; 2 front feet rounded and protruding.
